Bail hearing in 2010 murder POSTPONED until FRIDAY, OCT. 28, 11 a.m.

10.24.2011 Cara Rintala’s bail hearing has been postponed to Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the request of her attorney, David Hoose. The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office did not oppose the defendant’s request.
Rintala will remain held without bail in the custody of the Hampshire County Sheriff’s Department in the meantime.
Rintala was indicted last Wednesday by the Hampshire Grand Jury for murdering Annamarie Rintala on March 29, 2010, in the home they shared in Granby, Massachusetts.
Rintala was arrested Wednesday evening in Narragansett, and arraigned the following day in Hampshire Superior Court after she waived extradition back to Massachusetts. She entered a plea of not guilty through her attorney
