Positive identification in Huntington death; homicide investigation continues

Statement from the Office of Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan:

The body discovered in Huntington this past Sunday evening has been positively identified as that of Jessica Dana, 30, of 8 Rocky Brook Drive.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy upon the body Monday, and determined that the manner of death was homicide.

Dana's partner, Jeb Daly, 36, of the same address in Huntington, is being held in the Hampshire County Jail and House of Correction in lieu of $100,000 bail, currently on charges of improper disposal of a body and misleading authorities.
 
The Massachusetts State Police Detectives Unit attached to the Northwestern District Attorney's Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Dana's homicide, and further updates will be provided as they become available.

The public should not be concerned about community safety.
