Massachusetts AG Maura Healey opens new Victim Assistance office in Northampton, announces funding


Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey cut the ribbon today, April 12, 2018 at a packed Grand Opening of the new Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance (MOVA) on Pleasant Street in Northampton.

She announced $9 million in funding for western Massachusetts Victim Services, including $237,371 for the Children's Advocacy Center for Hampshire County and $509,000 for the NWDA's Family Service Advocacy Project.

The three district attorneys from western Mass -- DA Sullivan, Hampden DA Anthony Guilluni and Berkshire DA Paul Caccaviello -- spoke along with Mayor Narkewicz, MOVA Executive Director Liam Lowney and others.
